Robert J. Mur

Our story began in 1918 and is the result of Robert J. Mur's passion for the Penedès. The terroir, viticulture and its winegrowers discovering the authenticity that can be transmitted through their way of understanding and blending true wines and sparkling wines. Throughout its history, each member of the J. Mur family creates, innovates and marks evolution with its eternal imprint on our domain. Transmitting a single philosophy, caring for and protecting the land that gives us its fruit, in order to achieve unique wines.

Robert J. Mur is supplied with 48 hectares of vineyards in different extensions, all located between the Alt and Baix Penedès, an ideal area for the cultivation of grape varieties suitable for long-aged cavas. 

Its proximity to the Mediterranean Sea and the altitude of the land with respect to it (between 200 m and 600 m), provide the ideal conditions for the cultivation of healthy vines, with high quality fruits.

The vineyards are managed sustainably respecting their cycles and needs, some of them in organic cultivation.
