Lucien Muzard & Fils

Brothers Claude and Hervé Muzard took over the running of the family domaine from their father – Lucien who had started the same way (but aged just 14!) in the 1960s – in 1995. The family can trace their local roots as far back as 1645 – nine generations.

The vines were replaced in 1993 with varietals that offer quality. They focused on working the soil in order to rebalance the plant, maintained using organic agricultural practices on a daily basis. For instance, in order to promote biodiversity, they have replanted trees and hedges around the vines.
