L'Acadie Vineyards

In 2004, Bruce Ewert, winemaker made the move from his successful winemaking career in British Columbia's Okangan Valley with his wife, three kids under the age of seven and a Newfoundland dog!

The kids grew up in 30 acres of paradise in the heart of the of Gaspereau Valley, picking grapes in the fall and sledding down the slopes in the winter.

The ancient, mineral-rich, sea-bed soil results in complex mineral flavours to their food friendly wines.

They actively promote a healthy, natural ecosystem so that they can avoid pesticides for a truly organic, natural clean flavour and finish. They are the first organic vineyard and winery in Nova Scotia.
