Château Cassagne Haut-Canon is a former hunting lodge of Marshal Duke of Richelieu, Louis-rançois Armand du Plessis, dating from the 18th century. Cassagne comes from the Gallic term for "oak". Owned by the Dubois family since 1956. The vineyard covers 13 hectares, with an average age of forty years,, 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
