Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru ‘Les Perrières’ is easily identified by its crystal clear, yellow-gold hue with silver highlights. On the nose it is elegant and delicate, releasing aromas of fresh almond, buttery brioche and white flowers. The clay-limestone soils also bring a lovely minerality to the wine.
The attack is supple and buttery. The mid-palate is both mineral and toasty and packed with hazelnut and grilled almond flavours. The overall impression is one of refinement with good tension.
